Department of Modern Subjects & Languages started its journey since the inception of the Campus here at Agartala, Tripura on 04-06-2013 onwards. Then in the Academic session 2022-23, this department of Modern Subjects & Languages was re-organized into various Schools & Departments. One of those schools & departments was the School of Language, Literature & Culture under which comes the Department of Indian Language offering Bengali and Hindi as optional subject of part of the course for the students from Prak shastri. And offering Shastri Pratiashta as a elective subject. |
